Volunteering
There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved in activities and the day to day running of the Hythe Community Centre. The best thing about becoming more involved is meeting new people, young and old plus learning new things!
What is the role of a Community Centre Volunteer, what can YOU do?
* Work on special events and activities
* Help plan and implement community projects
* Get involved in the decision making process
* Contribute ideas and suggestions
Formal qualifications are NOT required, although you will need:
* Enthusiasm
* Like meeting new people
* To become a good team player
* To be honest
* Work towards the aims and goals of the Association
How much time will you need to be willing to give?
This depends on the type of volunteer activity you would like to get involved in. If you would like to be involved for just a particular activity due to take place you may volunteer just for the length of the event
What will I get in return for being a volunteer?
